Michael’s work has most recently appeared or is forthcoming in the Texas Observer, the Tampa Review, BULL, the Pinch and X-R-A-Y. In 2024, his essay in The Twin Bill was nominated for the “Best of the Net” anthology. He’s an alumnus of the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop.

He lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife (who is also a writer), his daughter, and a small, fluffy Maltese.
